Delph Miniatures was founded in 1991. We are a mother-and-daughter team, Margaret Shaw and Kath Holden, and now Ryan Holden, Kath's son and occasionally aided by Kath's husband!
We aim to produce quality British-made 1/12th scale miniatures for collectors with the accent on modern.
We create collectors items. We do not produce toys.
Our inspiration is not in resource books or museums, but physically around us, all the time, in our homes, in the shops of our home city, Bradford, and in the lives of our friends and family. We love creating something different and modern that someone wants. In this way our range has expanded as people have asked for more new things. Ideas are all around us. You may be living in a Victorian house but you still have your TV, your microwave, and your computer. You probably also have inherited pieces of furniture, and that's fine too.
Although the majority of our food items would be suitable for any time period, we are one of the few makers to produce modern day items.
All our products are made by us in house here in the U.K., and we are proud of it!
We hope that you enjoy our website!
To see us creating our miniatures, please watch this short documentary film made by Ellen Evans.

Without his support we would not be the business that we are today. He was our encourager and financial backer in the beginning, driver and helper for shows, technical adviser, maintenance man, chief product packer and our man on the postoffice run! Thanks Dad!
He was a lovely, gentle and kind man to all, and would always help anyone who needed a hand. Tony will be so missed by everyone who knew him.
